This watch started life as a Seiko Dolce 7741-6020 made in March of 1983. Then it became the first watch in my "Nature" series.
I followed a similar process to most of my other custom designs - the watch was first fully disassembled and cleaned. Once clean, I removed the original finish from the dial and hand applied a textured pigment finish that reminds me of the Moon. I installed a set of black hour and minute hands from another 7741, and reinstalled the gold seconds hand.
This tungsten case has a gold tone (created by a titanium nitride coating) which plays nicely with the gold on the hands. It also helps accentuate the subtle blue and purple tones of the dial.
Pristine condition - no scratches or marks on the case, crystal, crown, or cabochon. Movement is running well on a new battery.
